Overall good, I was happy with the 2 nights. I stayed in a king room on the 3rd floor away from the main road which was relatively quiet except for exhaust fans outside the room. It was quite hot when I arrived and no aircon control in my room - you have to ring reception who tells me there are 2 settings, low and high only. You then have to wait for housekeeping to flick that switch for you. In this case I waited over 3 hours and made 3 phone calls. The room itself was small but ample for my solo needs. The bathroom stank of cigarette smoke and you could tell the previous guest had smoked in it. There was stray hair in the shower and burn marks on the toilet seat. It was modern and apart from the hair on the shower wall seemingly clean and came with wall style toiletries. The bed was a fake king size, my pet hate - 2 single beds zipped together with an uncomfortable seam that goes straight down the middle. That seam was well raised and kept me from crossing over to the forbidden side all night.. Staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early as my room was ready. I was also able to leave my luggage for the day. It’s in a great location and I loved the easy access to the shopping centre, eateries and the park across the road. RPA is only 5 min down the road, an easy ride by bus (hospital was my main reason for stay). Close to Central station and I walked there and back. I would stay again, it was good value for money.

This hotel is in a great location and easily accessible, and we did enjoy our stay. However, our first night was spent in a room with no window (awful) despite saying there was an internal window in the description. This felt quite prison like and very claustrophobic, so be careful which one you book. Luckily, Julie on the front desk moved us to a room with a window for the second night. She was abslutely amazing and super accomodating and even left us little treats to apologise. The second room was much better. The beds are super comfy and we felt that the hotel had everything that we needed. Lots of great cafes nearby.

The location is very handy to the city centre, but still at a competitive price. There is also a shopping centre directly behind the hotel and a bus stop a few meter from the front door. Victoria park is also just across the road and the cosy and friendly Glebe Hotel is a few blocks away too, and worth a visit. When I checked in and arrived at my room, the air con was already running to cool the room. The staff member I spoke to was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Nothing was a problem. I also had a very competitive price for the date of my stay, which encouraged me to pick this hotel.

Great convenient and clean room. I really liked bathroom with handheld shower hand and bottles of soaps. Nice large TV. AC cannot be manipulated on the customer end but it was adequate. I think it is different room by room. Very strong freezing compartment in the mini fridge, which was amazing. Able to drink ice-cold beer within an hour. I only stayed for a night this time, but seems definitely great for longer stay.

It's very close to the university, where I wanted to go. Staff is also very helpful. I had a problem with my room, and the staff quickly solved the issue offering me another room. The reception lady anticipated that the standard breakfast could be too little for me and offered me a second round without me even asking. Rooms were comfortable with everything one needs in a hotel.
